Caretaker Position in Weyburn, SK

Overview: The South East Cornerstone Public School Division #209 seeks a qualified Caretaker to join their team. As a key member of the school community, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school premises.
Salary: $22.70/hour with a full benefit package and an employer-defined pension plan, as per the SEIU-West Collective Agreement.
Job Description: The primary duties of this position include ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the school facilities, including but not limited to: cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and general upkeep. Additionally, the successful candidate must have basic mechanical and plumbing knowledge, as well as experience operating tractors, mowers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements: To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent preferred), a valid Fireman's Certificate is an asset, and a valid Driver's License. Direct experience in caretaking would be beneficial, as would a demonstrated understanding of cleaning processes and products.
