Executive Director of Philanthropy

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as Vice President, Philanthropy & Partnerships. This executive search is conducted by Nelson/Kraft & Associates on behalf of Winnipeg Mennonite School.
Job SummaryThe Vice President, Philanthropy and Partnerships will be responsible for leading our philanthropic engagement and relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and legacy givers. This role will also involve developing meaningful partnerships with Canadian churches and leading the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to inspire Canadian supporters to engage and invest in our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, inspiration, and direction to the Philanthropy and Partnerships team.
- Lead, equip, and empower teams to continue the build and successfully launch of our large-scale capital campaign.
- Manage a personal portfolio of key donors and prospects.
- Work with the Chief Operating Officer and colleagues to create an achievable high-level vision and overall direction for the team.
- Empower the team to grow our partnership with Canadian churches, Christian faith leaders, and pastors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising and partnership development, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to inspire and motivate a team to achieve our philanthropic goals and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
