About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a General Duty Medical Technologist – Computed Tomography, you will be responsible for performing assigned diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience.

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Charge Medical Technologist or designate, you will provide direct patient/resident care and technical, administrative, and operational support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery. You will maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience.
  • Provide direct patient/resident care.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology Program, eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.R.T.).
  • Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
  • Fluent language skills (written and oral) in both French and English may be required.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
