Job Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Clerk plays a vital role in supporting our clinical team by:
- Scheduling diagnostic imaging examinations using the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Managing patient information, including registration and updates
- Assisting patients with wheelchairs when needed
- Providing digital images and films to physicians upon request
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of diagnostic imaging exams
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent education
- Previous PACS experience an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Keyboard speed of 35 wpm
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to adapt to stressful situations
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
