Job Summary

Motel 6 Trenton is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet customer demands and expectations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Working Conditions

The Cook will work in a hotel kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
