Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality of deliverables.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and expectations.
  • Engage and/or manage specialist consultants, including geology, mining, tailings management, geotechnical, and environmental experts.
  • Compile study reports, including NI43-101 compliant reports.
  • Liaise with internal Process, Engineering, and Projects groups to source suitable resources for studies.
  • Assist Business Development in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for new studies.
  • Supervise, mentor, or develop up-and-coming Study Management resources within the team.
What You'll Bring:
  • Extensive experience in mining or mineral processing studies and projects.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Study Manager or in a similar management role within the mining industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and coordinating engineering, environmental, and social inputs to Greenfield mining developments.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and coworkers.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high standards within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Experience in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for new studies at a senior leadership level.
