Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

Hatch is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with and delivering projects covering surface water management, water balance and final void studies in mining related projects, catchment hydrology, and mine water management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaison with clients to understand their needs and identify how we can assist
  • Report writing on findings and proposal preparation
  • Providing input to engineering, operating and cost estimates
Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative and inclusive work style
  • Licensed engineer within Alberta preferred
  • Prior experience within the industrial and mining sectors
  • Previous experience in Hydraulic flood modeling will be well regarded
