Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Klohn Crippen Berger. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting economic analyses, feasibility studies, and designing various types of dams, bridges, and water and waste management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct economic analyses and feasibility studies to determine the viability of water resource projects
  • Design and plan various types of dams, bridges, and water and waste management systems
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and conduct technical analyses of survey and field data
  • Develop construction specifications and procedures, and ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
  • Establish and monitor construction work schedules, evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials, and prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • 5 years or more of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water resources
