Position Overview:
The Lead Optical Process Engineer will play a pivotal role within the product solutions development team, delivering optical engineering solutions that support product innovation, new product introduction (NPI), and the manufacturing of diverse optical and microelectronic product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
The senior engineer will guide the development of optical alignment methodologies and will also provide mentorship and training to junior engineers.

Qualifications:
We seek a highly skilled Process Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in processes related to the fabrication of optical products. This includes, but is not limited to, active optical alignment and precision passive placement techniques.

Collaboration:
The individual will collaborate within a global product development team to effectively design and implement advanced opto/microelectronic components, modules, and subsystems.

Process Development:
In this capacity, you will be engaged in defining process architecture, which encompasses the development of optical assembly and alignment processes, formalizing these as they evolve toward manufacturing readiness.

Methodical Approach:
You are expected to adopt a systematic approach in defining and implementing process architecture, employing sound engineering principles for both process development and verification.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in general process troubleshooting and root cause analysis will be essential for success in this role.
