Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling and Nursing Clerk to join our team at Extendicare Canada Inc. in a contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Nursing Department, including scheduling and payroll processes.
  • Manage inventory levels of nursing supplies, forms, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including resident files and in-service attendance records.
  • Process orders and requisitions, and book resident appointments.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures related to fire safety, infection control, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education.
  • Experience with scheduling and payroll computer systems, preferably with 'WorkDay'.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong administrative skills, including typing and filing.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff.
  • Positive customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
