Job Title: Whitewater Rafting Guide

Glacier Raft Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Whitewater Rafting Guide to join our team. As a Whitewater Rafting Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups on exciting outdoor adventures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the trip.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead groups on whitewater rafting trips, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for clients.
  • Operate and maintain watercraft, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Plan and prepare meals for clients, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Provide outdoor, wilderness, and wildlife instruction to clients, promoting a deeper appreciation for nature.
  • Assist clients with special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the trip.
  • Maintain equipment, including watercraft, safety gear, and communication devices.
  • Work collaboratively with other guides and staff to ensure a smooth and successful trip.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a whitewater rafting guide or in a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
