Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Whitewater Rafting Guide to lead our river expeditions. As a Whitewater Rafting Guide, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our clients while navigating the rapids and scenic waterways of our beautiful rivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead groups of clients on whitewater rafting expeditions, providing guidance and instruction on river safety and navigation.
  • Operate and maintain watercraft, including rafts and kayaks, to ensure safe and efficient transportation of clients.
  • Plan and prepare for expeditions, including route selection, equipment preparation, and client briefings.
  • Provide instruction and guidance on wilderness survival skills, including first aid and emergency response.
  • Assist clients with special needs, such as physical or medical limitations, to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities, including rafts, kayaks, and safety gear, to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Whitewater Rafting Guide or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, and work in a physically demanding environment.
