About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Wonderbrands. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in driving daily quality improvement initiatives across our bakery manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with recipes and ingredient specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality deviations, and work with Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineers to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test results, and deviations using quality management software, such as iQMS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (CFIA, FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC, GFSI) and internal policies, and assist in audit preparation and execution (internal, third-party, regulatory).
- Participate in daily Quality Huddles, collecting and analyzing relevant samples, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
