About Our Client
Our client operates as a municipal contractor on large road and highway projects in Northern Ontario. They require an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee the design and quality control/assurance of various laboratory and field projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of project specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with personnel to set up and calibrate production equipment
- Perform testing of road construction materials, including asphalt concrete pavement and granular base
- Mentor junior technologists to develop their skills and knowledge
- Work closely with supervisory personnel to maintain high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of test results and provide timely updates to stakeholders

Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or relevant field
- 8+ years of experience in materials testing, including aggregate and asphalt
- Strong understanding of road construction materials and practices
- Minimum Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
