Job Title: Solutions Engineer

Algo Communications is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering solutions to our customers, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their technical needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear understanding of the customer's business and people practices, capturing their needs, requirements, and desired future state.
  • Recommend integration strategies, solution architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement solutions with Algo's VoIP technologies and products.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge and understanding of Algo's existing and future products and services.
  • Partner with the Algo Sales team by owning all technical aspects of the opportunity.
  • Technically qualify business opportunities, raise key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers with the product engineering team.
  • Support the technical relationship with Algo customers, including product and solution demos, proof-of-concept work.
  • Partner directly with the engineering team to prioritize new features and technical developments.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technical experience in client-facing sales, presales, consulting, or technical architect roles.
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role required.
  • Previous experience in Telecom, Networking, VoIP, or paging.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence.
  • In-depth knowledge of 'traditional' voice communications systems and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to create, present, and document technical solutions.
  • Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes.
  • Expert-level solution sales ability.
  • Understand Algo Communications partner and ecosystem partners, products, and applications.
  • Mentor developing team members.
  • Act as a leader when the situation warrants.
  • Be flexible and able to function in a high-growth environment.
