Technical Sales Professional

QAI Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling our services to potential clients within assigned units.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with QAI technical staff to position our service packages and provide technical support as needed.
- Prepare and issue quotes specifying applicable services, fees, and credit terms.
- Facilitate all sales transactions, completing all necessary tasks, paperwork, and project assignments.
- Support marketing efforts in the development of brochures, newsletters, videos, and educational content within assigned units.
- Technical diploma in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven ability to provide superior customer service in a complex and demanding business environment.
- Demonstrated strong ability to build internal and external relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with superior presentation skills.
- Professional with at least 3 years of B2B sales experience.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and with team members.
- Experience working within the testing and certification industry.
- Knowledge of construction products, building or electrical codes, and test methods under ASTM, CSA, UL, EN/IEC, NFPA, and other standards.
- Experience working with diverse teams (engineering, operations, marketing).
- Ability to read and understand policies, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to listen and understand client needs, requirements, and expectations.
- Ability to communicate client needs, requirements, and expectations throughout the organization.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities to contribute to QAI growth objectives.
