We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 18-bed emergency department.
About the Role:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult patients
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in regular teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- Be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
Requirements:
- Candidate must hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine
- Experience in community hospital ED environment is highly desirable
- Flexibility in scheduling and availability to fill crisis call-in volume and acuity work
