Position Summary:
The DC Inventory Control Specialist performs tasks associated with inventory management, customer service and TU (Transportation Unit) / ER (Expected Receipt) building. Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes with a Grainger Distribution Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Process customer orders and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
