Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator/Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare and present detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Project Management: Manage estimating and cost planning activities, including taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates.
  • Value Engineering: Participate in value engineering, LEED analysis, and life cycle costing to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to the appropriate line manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and cost planning, with a strong background in construction cost estimation.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Navisworks, and/or other related computer software. Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
