Job Title: Senior Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed cost estimates for major infrastructure construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project requirements and specifications.
  • Produce detailed cost estimates for electrical and mechanical systems, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
  • Provide expert advice on cost management and estimation best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure access to current market prices.
  • Participate in probabilistic risk assessment workshops to calculate contingency provisions.
  • Provide cost benchmarking and validation services for major infrastructure projects.
  • Actively interface with project clients, key stakeholders, contractors, and consultants during all project stages.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in cost estimating positions across pre-contract/post-contract phases of infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with estimating software used on major civil engineering projects.
  • Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management Degree and/or M&E Certification or equivalent.
