Cyber Security Analyst Job Description

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for detecting and preventing cyber security incidents by real-time monitoring and analysis of potential intrusions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats
  • Develop and implement security protocols to prevent cyber attacks
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) team to respond to security incidents
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and trends
  • Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cyber Security role
  • Strong knowledge of IT networking, servers, and security principles
  • Proficient in various SIEM, EDR, and log collection technologies
  • Ability to analyze complex security events and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
