Job Summary

The Cyber Security Analyst Instructor will be responsible for teaching and training students in the field of cyber security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, as well as industry experience and teaching or presentation experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and train students in the field of cyber security
  • Develop and deliver curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry
  • Evaluate student academic performance and provide feedback
  • Participate in program assessment and institutional effectiveness
  • Represent the college in a positive manner to internal and external constituents
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5 years of industry experience in cyber security
  • 2 years of teaching or presentation experience
  • CompTIA Security +, CCNA Security, MS Windows Server 2012, Linux, CYSA+ certifications highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with vulnerability management and assessments, network security, cloud security
  • Knowledge of security audit and compliance, incident response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and problem management
  • Experience with scripting and automation, enterprise authentication and enterprise management technologies
  • Strong academic and professional record
  • Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction
