Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paper Converting Supervisor to join our team at International Paper Converters Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our paper converting systems and equipment, ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure that production targets are met.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure that the team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the role.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes to achieve these goals.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
