Job Title: Junior Municipal Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Municipal Civil Engineer to join our team at Parsons. As a Junior Municipal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water, sanitary, and storm systems, drainage, and grading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team to develop engineering products that meet quality requirements, while meeting budgetary and timeline constraints.
  • Prepare designs of civil systems associated with municipal roads, water, sanitary, and storm systems, drainage, and grading.
  • Perform construction site inspections and prepare correspondent reports.
  • Prepare proposals, including work plans, cost estimates, and schedules.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Engineer in Training (EIT) with EGBC.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in civil engineering design, including AutoCAD Civil 3D work experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD Civil 3D and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing skills for preparation of memorandums, technical reports, and proposals.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and communicate effectively with colleagues, subconsultants, contractors, and clients.
