About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Charles River Laboratories. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting post-mortem examinations of animals and collaborating with pathologists to evaluate tissue samples.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform necropsies on animals to identify any abnormalities or diseases.
  • Evaluate tissues and organs for any signs of disease or injury.
  • Dissect and weigh organs to document any abnormalities.
  • Euthanize animals prior to performing necropsies.

Requirements:

  • Certified in Animal Health or a related field.
  • Experience in dissection techniques.
  • Strong observation skills.
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).
  • Proficient in written English.
