We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Specialist to join our team at Charles River Laboratories.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting post-mortem examinations of animals while adhering to strict ethical regulations and study plans. Your expertise will ensure the health and integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing necropsies on animals to evaluate tissues for pathologists.
  • Weighing and documenting organ abnormalities.
  • Euthanizing animals prior to necropsy procedures.

Requirements:

  • A diploma in Animal Health or a related Biology field.
  • Experience with dissection (asset).
  • Excellent observation skills.
  • Able to work physically, including lifting up to 20 kg and standing for long periods.
  • Proficiency in written English is mandatory; bilingualism in French and English is preferable.
