We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Alberta Ltd. in a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition, checking tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
- Record important information, including cargo details, hours worked, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Air Brakes Endorsement is mandatory for this role.
- A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) is required.
- Excellent attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to handle heavy loads are essential.
- This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring approximately 30-40 hours of work per week.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a safe working pace.
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
