GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tactical Security Guard to join our team in Red Deer. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and the public.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-profile environment, one of the busiest malls in Red Deer. Our team provides growth opportunities, with 20% of our frontline employees being promoted to operation teams. In fact, almost 70% of our tactical guards have moved on to law enforcement careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate access to restricted areas for authorized personnel
  • Patrol the site on foot and monitor closed-circuit cameras
  • Coordinate response to incidents and respond to telephone calls received by the security department
  • Provide high-level customer service to all customers and tenants
  • Removal of unauthorized individuals

Requirements

  • Valid Alberta security guard license and first aid certificate
  • Eligibility to work in Canada full-time
  • Criminal justice or police foundations diploma is an asset
  • Previous tactical experience is an asset
