About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Evertz Microsystems. As a key member of our RF Product Line, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge RF systems that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional and Design Verification Testing: Conduct thorough testing and verification of RF hardware and software to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Test Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of RF components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Test Result Recording and Reporting: Record and report test results in a clear and concise manner, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Procedure Development and Documentation: Create and maintain documented procedures and processes related to testing RF products for use in production.
  • Collaboration with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to resolve R&D-related production issues and ensure smooth product delivery.
  • Project Management and Issue Tracking: Participate in project planning and issue tracking, ensuring timely completion of projects and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Customer Support and Collaboration: Provide technical support and collaborate with customers and the Evertz sales team to select and design RF solutions that meet their needs.
  • Proposal Development and Submission: Assist in the development and submission of RF-related proposals, providing cost-effective and innovative solutions.
  • Travel and On-Site Support: Travel to customer sites regionally and overseas to conduct demos, provide technical support, and collaborate with customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer/Networking Engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, ability to read technical drawings and schematics, and experience working with test measuring tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong manual dexterity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational and planning skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership and Initiative: Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and initiative, with a passion for learning new technology, software, and hardware.
