Senior RF Engineer Opportunity at Evertz Microsystems Limited

Evertz Microsystems Limited, a global leader in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge products for the television broadcast, cable, and telco industries, is seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to join its innovative and talented RF team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance RF and IF circuits, including simulation and validation, for frequencies ranging from 1 to 75 GHz.
  • Design high-speed analog signal transmission on copper or fiber optic media products.
  • Analyze product requirements and create technical specifications.
  • Manage small projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in RF/IF development and implementation, particularly with high-performance satellite and wireless communications products.
  • Excellent understanding of key RF parameters, including gain, power levels, linearity, VSWR, NF, etc.
  • Experience designing and developing a range of RF and Microwave products across various frequency bands, including IF, L-band, C-band, X-band, and Ka-band.
  • Experience with microwave and millimeter-wave devices, circuits, and technologies, such as filters, combiners/dividers, mixers, attenuators, and couplers.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Design Automation tools (e.g., ADS) and 2D/3D EM simulators (e.g., ADS, HFSS, Microwave Studio, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
