About the Role:

Midas SAINTE-ANNE-DE-BELLEVUE 9480 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Use state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles, including tires, brakes, suspension, and engine systems.
  • Tire and Wheel Services: Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs, as well as wheel alignments and replacements.
  • Brake and Suspension Services: Inspect and repair brake systems, including pads, rotors, and calipers, as well as suspension components and steering systems.
  • Engine and Cooling Services: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engine and cooling systems, including oil changes, filter replacements, and radiator repairs.
  • Electrical and Electronics Services: Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues with vehicles, including battery, starting, and charging systems.
  • Visual Safety and Courtesy Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential safety issues and recommend necessary repairs.

Requirements:

  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification: Must hold a valid certificate of qualification in automotive repair.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles.
  • Own Tools and Equipment: Must have a set of basic tools and equipment, including a diagnostic scanner and other specialized tools.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Must have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be able to diagnose and repair complex issues.
