Prestige Kamloops Hotel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Cleaning Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cleaning Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms are clean and tidy, including dusting, vacuuming, and making beds.

You will also be responsible for cleaning public areas, such as the lobby, corridors, and elevators, and restocking linens and toiletries. Additionally, you may be required to handle lost and found items and respond to guest requests for extra supplies or other items.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms and public areas
  • Dust, vacuum, and make beds in guest rooms
  • Clean public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and elevators
  • Restock linens and toiletries
  • Handle lost and found items
  • Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or other items
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking will also be required.

Compensation and Benefits
