About the Role:

The City of Prince George is seeking a highly skilled Community Outreach Specialist to facilitate and support community action on a wide range of healthy city priorities. This role will work closely with Bylaw Services Officers and representatives from other allied service providers to deliver projects and initiatives that promote social well-being and equity.

About the Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate community engagement and outreach initiatives to promote healthy city priorities.
  • Work closely with Bylaw Services Officers and other stakeholders to deliver projects and initiatives.
  • Support related projects, such as peer engagement and employment.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and service providers to promote social well-being and equity.

About the Requirements:

  • Diploma in Human Services, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a role that requires collaboration, community building, planning, and organization.
