United Rentals of Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our branch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Branch Manager in implementing strategies to achieve financial objectives and drive branch performance.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance.
- Monitor and analyze branch metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to drive operational excellence.
- Support sales and customer service efforts to ensure world-class service and operational efficiency.
- Maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process.
- May be responsible for day-to-day operational activities, including opening and closing, cash drawer reconciliation, and bank deposit.
- Motivate, coach, and train personnel to achieve their full potential.
- Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
Requirements:
- High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
- Supervision and leadership experience (2+ years) preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
- Strong motivational and leadership skills.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
