The Service Manager oversees this position, responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to various trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles. As a Lead Hand Technician, you will provide technical and administrative support, conduct spot-checks to ensure quality and timely completion, and review work orders for accuracy.

We are seeking a skilled technician to fill our afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and the Company's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to technicians during day-to-day operations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in service quality, assisting with jobs as needed.
  • Develop a strong focus on teamwork and exceptional customer service with all departments.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with service customers.
  • Collaborate with the Service Advisor to schedule shop work efficiently and check on job status.
  • Lead and motivate technicians, ensuring they follow warranty material disposition procedures.
  • Prepare repair estimates as required and review technicians' repair orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on the latest technological advances through training and service letters.
Basic Qualifications
  • Licensed Technician with 310T Certification
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive work attitude
  • Quality-driven approach
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Driver's Abstract
