We are seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at Boeing Trucking Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Job Summary

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work, resolving work problems, providing technical advice, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating Activities: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient and effective operation of logistics operations.
  • Preparing Reports: Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to management and other stakeholders.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate work assignments.
  • Scheduling and Inventory: Establish work schedules and procedures, organize and maintain inventory, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics operations or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Familiarity with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.

Working Conditions

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
