Strategic Communications Specialist

Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to join our team in a permanent role.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled communications professional with expertise in social media management, content creation, and community engagement. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across various platforms, creating engaging content, and fostering a strong online presence for our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement social media strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Create high-quality, engaging content for our social media channels, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Foster a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track engagement, reach, and other key performance indicators.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our online presence remains competitive and effective.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze social media metrics.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, including Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
