Job Title: Marketing and Business Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Business Development Specialist to join our team at Leanessa Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and business development, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Supervise professional and support staff and students to ensure effective team performance
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Perform administrative tasks to support business operations
  • Plan development projects to drive business growth and development
  • Develop venture capital sources to support business investment
  • Recruit and hire staff to support business operations
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  • Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles to support business operations
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies to inform business decisions
  • Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals
  • Design market research questionnaires to gather data on consumer behavior
  • Develop portfolio of marketing materials to promote business investment
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to inform business decisions
  • Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to support business operations
  • Develop feasibility studies to inform business decisions
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions to drive business growth and development
  • Maintain database of potential franchisees, real estate locations and on-line buy/sell Internet sites
  • Prepare funding applications to support business investment
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote business investment
  • Ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place to support business operations
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia to promote business investment
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive business growth and development

Supervision: The Marketing and Business Development Specialist will supervise 11-15 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The Marketing and Business Development Specialist will work under pressure, with tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, a large workload, and overtime.

Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate will possess accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player qualities.
