Job Summary:

The Grounds Maintenance Laborer is a key member of our team at Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services. As a Grounds Maintenance Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to complete grounds maintenance service contracts. This role requires the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
  • Perform lawn care duties, including cutting grass, trimming edges, cleaning up refuse, and blowing trimmings
  • Assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areas
  • Operate power equipment, including lawn tractors, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Assist with other work-related duties, including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, and vehicle and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience in the landscape or construction industry
  • Ability to operate required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to walk, stand, and crouch for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical tasks

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and outdoors in various conditions
