About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal Backend Developer to join our team at EBSCO Information Services. As a key member of our Stacks for Libraries team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality solutions using Drupal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements to research, plan, and design elegant solutions.
  • Write high-quality, well-structured code following proper Drupal coding standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to review, test, and deliver features and improvements on time.
  • Work with the team to architect new features and DevOps integrations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing with Drupal.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and MySQL.
  • Experience with GIT version control and GIT workflows.
  • Knowledge of CLI tools, such as Composer, Drush, and Drupal Console.
  • Experience with integrating third-party APIs into Drupal.

  • Have a post-secondary diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Have experience working with Atlassian products, such as JIRA and Bitbucket.
  • Are knowledgeable about other technologies and can suggest integration solutions.

  • Have an eye for design and UX consistency across platforms.
  • Have extreme attention to detail and consistency to minimize errors.
Target Annual Compensation

The target annual compensation range for this role is $79,160 - $113,085 CAD. The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
