About the Role

EBSCO International is the international operations group of EBSCO Information Services (EIS), a leading provider of research solutions. We are seeking an experienced Backend Drupal Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our digital library platform, Stacks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Drupal development, with experience in building large-scale sites and integrating with third-party APIs. They will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements, designing and implementing elegant solutions, and collaborating with the team to deliver features and improvements on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements to research, plan, and design solutions
  • Write high-quality, well-structured code following Drupal coding standards
  • Collaborate with the team to review, test, and deliver features and improvements
  • Work with the team to architect new features and devops integrations
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Drupal Developer who is passionate about building robust and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing with Drupal
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and MySQL
  • Knowledge of GIT version control and GIT workflows
  • Experience with building large-scale Drupal sites
  • Excellent knowledge of Drupal 8 and creating custom modules
  • Knowledge of CLI tools, such as composer, drush, and drupal console
  • Experience with integrating with third-party APIs into Drupal
