Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal Backend Developer to join our team at EBSCO Information Services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing customer requirements to design and implement elegant solutions.
  • Writing high-quality, well-structured code that meets Drupal coding standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to review, test, and deliver features and improvements on time.
  • Working with the team to architect new features and DevOps integrations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience developing with Drupal.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and MySQL.
  • Experience with building large-scale Drupal sites.
  • Excellent knowledge of Drupal 8 and creating custom modules.
  • Knowledge of CLI tools, such as Composer, Drush, and Drupal Console.
  • Experience with integrating third-party APIs into Drupal.

  • Has a post-secondary diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Has experience working with Atlassian products, such as JIRA and Bitbucket.
  • Is knowledgeable about other technologies and can suggest integration solutions.

  • Has an eye for design and UX consistency across platforms.
  • Has extreme attention to detail and consistency to minimize errors.

Target Annual Compensation

The target annual compensation range is $79,160 - $113,085 CAD. The actual salary offer will be based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
