This key leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive asset protection strategies to safeguard company assets, merchandise, stores, head office, distribution centers, and people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management and Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective risk management plans to protect company assets from potential threats, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage a high-performing asset protection team, fostering strong relationships with cross-functional partners, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Loss Prevention teams.
  • Talent Development and Succession Planning: Build and nurture a talented asset protection team, focusing on talent retention, growth, and succession planning to ensure continuity.
  • Regional Support and Field Management: Oversee case and field management activities across multiple regions, working closely with Regional partners and field leaders to address asset protection challenges.
  • Retail Crime Mitigation and Security Protocols: Collaborate with local law enforcement and field teams to effectively combat retail crime, ensuring a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security management, with a proven track record of success in a large retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, risk management principles, and emergency response protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and interact effectively with law enforcement agencies.
