Humber River Health is committed to revolutionizing patient care in North America's first fully digital hospital. As an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, you will partner with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to provide direct and comprehensive care and services to patients.

This key leadership role involves:

  • Providing assessment, coordination, and provision of services to patients and families, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Integrating best practice guidelines and current evidence-based research into clinical practice, driving quality improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Making recommendations for change in consultation with the Program Director, Manager, and Physician Leader, leveraging expertise to drive positive outcomes.
  • Developing and delivering training programs, coaching, and education related to evidence-based Oncology practice and knowledge among team members, promoting professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing, combined with significant experience in acute oncology and systemic therapy.
  • Oncology Nursing Certification (CNA), preferred, demonstrating a commitment to specialized knowledge and skills.
  • An in-depth understanding of oncology, community resources, crisis work, and relevant legislation, including the Regulated Health Profession Act, Mental Health Act, Health Care Consent Act, and Substitute Decisions Act.
