About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Griesbach Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dental professionals with a range of tasks, including preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys, and ordering dental and office supplies.
  • Perform administrative functions, such as invoicing patients and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supervise students in training and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in dental assisting, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
