Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant

XFINITY DENTAL is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist our dentists with patient care, administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies
  • Prepare dental instruments and materials
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide instructions on proper dental care
  • Polish teeth and clinical crowns, apply fluoride and sealant, and perform other intra-oral duties
  • Take and develop X-rays, record dental procedures, and invoice patients for services
  • Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations, and take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
  • Assist with patient communication and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board
  • Membership in the Canadian Dental Assistants Association
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move equipment
