Position Overview:As the Chief Software Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing Software Development: Manage the entire software development lifecycle for educational tools, from ideation to deployment and ongoing support.
- Strategic Direction: Formulate and implement the software strategy that aligns with the institution's mission and objectives. Establish goals, prioritize initiatives, and lead critical projects.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing software engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Who You Are:The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in software development, preferably in educational technology or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in software development methodologies, programming languages, and tools. Experience with educational software development is advantageous.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage software engineering teams, inspiring and developing team members.
- Strategic Mindset: Capable of formulating and executing strategic plans to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Collaborative Approach: Experience in working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive collaborative efforts.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment with a high degree of change and uncertainty.
