We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Labourer to join our team at Artistic Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and performing various other tasks related to outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and dusty environments. They will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week.
