Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Artistic Landscaping Ltd. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Lay sod or seed.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply fertilizers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
Work Environment

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience an asset.
