About the Role:

As the Team Leader, Data Integrity Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily management of the team's workload, implementing process improvements, eliminating inefficiencies, and coordinating the team to align with the priorities and vision of Investia Financial Services Inc. Recognized for leadership and knowledge, the successful candidate will foster a collaborative and positive work environment for the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators, prioritize tasks, and cross-train team members to optimize efficiency and meet established service level agreements.
  • Develop and implement processes, standards, and metrics for tasks and work with staff to achieve agreed-upon metrics.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity within the team using process improvement methodologies.
  • Oversee the employee onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new and departing team members.
  • Plan and supervise the training of new team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coach employees, fostering open communication within the team to share progress, issues, and changes, and encourage team participation and inclusion in changes and training.
  • Manage performance, setting clear performance expectations for team members, monitoring performance metrics, and providing feedback and coaching.
  • Effectively manage escalations, issues, and complaints, using each occasion as an opportunity to build closer ties and exceed expectations with stakeholders.
  • Lead the Daily Management System Meetings with the team, ensuring alignment and focus on key objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Director on team management, metrics, efficiencies, and strategic objectives, ensuring a cohesive and aligned approach.
  • Lead and participate in special projects as needed, driving process improvements and innovation within the team.

    Requirements:

    • College diploma or bachelor's degree in administration or a relevant discipline.
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services industry.
    • Previous experience in supervising, directing, and mentoring staff, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, promote team spirit, and achieve departmental objectives.
    • Proficient with data management and analysis, with the ability to comprehend technical data and communicate in simple terms.
    • Advanced knowledge of French and English is required to communicate with external customers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and advisors across Canada on a daily basis.
    • Canada Investment Funds/CSC and/or Operations (IFIC) Course or greater.
    • Travel may be required.
